Glazing types:

For replacement sashes we can use any of our glazing types:

• Single glazing where Conservation or Planning rules inform
• Argon filled double glazed units with white Warm Edge Spacers for improved aesthetics. U value of 1.9 W/m2K

Note: We will not use less than 8mm spacer due to the high failure rate of many low sightline units on the market today

• LandVac 8.3mm toughened Vacuum Glazing with Centre pane U value of 0.48 W/m2K

Joinery:

Replacement sashes are made using traditional techniques with full mortice and tenon joints. Available in hardwood (Sapele) or Softwood (Grade 1 European Redwood) and supplied in white primer for future painting or natural timber for staining.
